Edwin BlacksBane, Human, LN, Expert 4 / Aristocrat 6. Age: 72

Str: 10, Dex: 16, Con: 10, Int: 16, Wis: 16, Cha: 16

A tall, thin man. He is very skilled in diplomacy and a very civilized man. He is more than a little arrogant, but not in a cruel way. He truly believes he knows what is best for his city. His last name is in homage to who he considers his most worthy opponent, his deceased brother William Black. He discovered a plot his brother had to overthrow the royal family but had no proof. Over the course of a decade he worked against his brother and finally defeated him, which resulted in his brothers death. He believes his age and position give him the right to be fairly lazy. His assignment to this mission is the “Greatest honor of my worthless existence”. He firmly believes in the superiority of their society and wants to spread civilization across their new home. 

Captain John Spartan, Human, Male, LN, Fighter 12 Age: 22.

The head of the limited guards / military your initial civilization has. He is a very seriously man. Annoyingly lawful and believes in labor camps for rule breakers. His main concern is the safety of the city and the people within its walls. Taking care of things in the wild is only his concern if they threaten the city. His younger sister is a (former) from the wizards guild back home. She is the chief advisor to the mayor and she is a great balance to her brothers seriousness. Captain Spartan can be seen wearing his full plate armor most of the time. 

Layla Spartan, Half Elf, Female, Wizard 7, alchemist 3. CG Age: 45

Str: 8, Dex: 12, Con: 10, Int: 22, Wis: 20, Cha: 26

A former mages guild member back home. She was unaware she would lose her casting ability when they came to this world. She still very smart and nice to look at. She counters her brothers personality quite well. Her brother is over protective of her, and does not care she is nearly two decades older than him. She isn’t shy to talk about the circumstance of her birth. Her mother, when she was barely a teenager, was raped in a village by an elven warlord. Her brother would come along two decades later when her mother was able to come to terms with what happened. The man that would become her stepfather was a blacksmith / (Mideval equivalent of an engineer) and his shop was across from her mothers house. Her grandparents never accepted her but before her stepfather married her mother he was already filling the role of a father figure in her life. The parents are long since dead, in a disease epidemic that decimated their village. Her father was always fond of telling her things like if you use this “Tapping her head” you will never need to use this “Tapping her fists” He would not teach her how to use a weapon of any kind. He would often say things like "Violence begets violence" and that is likely why she is a borderline pacifist. 

Sakura, Human, Female, Cleric, CN. 5’6” 145 lbs. Hair: Red, Eyes: green Age: ~ 19

You meet Sakura when you go into the throne room to meet your benefactor. She is sleepily laying on a large stuffed chair off to the side. When you enter she stands up. She is a cleric (You will need to roll a knowledge religion check to identify her god). She  will be often seen reading a variety of books she carries with her. Usually in her immediate vicinity is a very unkempt, often fairly smelly Dwarf. The dwarf wont really talk to anyone else but she understands language just fine.

Prince Reginald BrightValor, Human, Male, 30, Alignment: C?

Str:10 Dex:14 Con:14 Int:24 Wis:19 Cha:21

The youngest son of the BrightValor family. His actual level of influence over how the kingdom is run is virtually non existent. He can basically do what he wants, but can not influence policy if any of his many elder siblings don’t like it. Not much is known about him personally. He is a tall, athletic man. Said to be able to woo anyone into his bed. But actual stories of his exploits are hard to come by. He is in charge of finding a separatist group calling for the abolishment of slavery through out the kingdom. He was assigned this as a punishment by his parents. This punishment is a result of him causing his parents to have to have a Duke, who was very loyal to the royal family and actually a cousin, to be executed. This Duke struck the prince, in public causing extensive harm to the Prince. Even though the prince antagonized the situation. The prince, in open court, said that if the Duke would publicly apologize and admit that he was of a lesser station and behaved in a manner not befitting someone of his station and accept single strike from the prince himself, he would consider the matter dropped. The duke refused and became enraged. Demanding trial by combat. The king and queen accepted and asked the prince to name a champion. The prince said that as a member of the royal family he had the birthright to refuse any challenge made to him. This being an essential right of royalty. So he refused the Dukes challenge. The King and Queen ended the open court and tried for hours to get their son to name a champion. Being one of the few things he could not be forced to do he refused. The next new moon the Duke was executed. And with his death the biggest part of the pro slavery movement in the kingdom was ended. Prince Reginald is always attended by his valet Karl and quite a few body guards. As a member of the Royal family he has a minor palace in the capital, he has chosen to make one of the largest and most grand libraries the capital has. Private of course but its not too hard to gain admission. 

Kira:  Human, Female, about 18, 6' 165 lbs. Druid. Daughter of the chief of the people of the woods. They are a small tribe and fairly private, but kind to those who show respect to their ways. Kira is a brave and daring person. She trains Velociraptors for the protection of her village. The group is allowed into a very small area in the village and are kept under guard, respectfully but watchful, and not allowed to leave this area and venture further into the village. 

Abdu: Human, Male, 80+, 6'3" 250 lbs Chief of the People of the woods. He is very old. He has not directly spoken to the players, speaking only through his daughter. He can understand their language, he responds to his daughter, in their tribal dialect, without her translating. He is very concerned with protecting his people. He wields a VERY powerful staff that he used to hide their village from outsiders.
